The month of June has arrived and with it the AXA Week for Good, a week dedicated to sustainability in which the mediators and collaborators of AXA in Spain participate together with family and friends in a large waste collection. The objective of this action is that, together, we collect the largest possible amount of garbage accumulated in urban and natural environments.
At Grupo Martí Seguros AXA we participate as a voluntary entity in this environmental action the week of Saturday June 18 to Sunday June 26.
This will be the days of waste collection
You can participate in this initiative through 2 modalities. First of all, you can opt for the individual one, in which you will participate with family or friends on the day you choose, in the area you decide and at the time you prefer. On the other hand, there is the group option, in which you will join other AXA volunteers in Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao.
- Individual mode: Each volunteer who registers will collect a special cleaning kit with gloves, bags for recycling and a special clamp to facilitate collection. The volunteer participates throughout the week at the time they prefer, alone or accompanied by their family and/or friends. At the end of the collection, the participant will report the number of bags that he has managed to fill to add them to the global challenge.
- Group modality: Once the restrictions due to the pandemic have been lifted, the initiative gradually resumes group activities. In the group activity, in addition to waste collection, an additional action will be carried out such as the elimination of invasive plants. The conference will also have an environmental technician to reinforce the activity with his knowledge and will end with a small snack. All the chosen areas will be accessible by public transport.
These are the cities where the face-to-face activity can be carried out, from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.:
- Barcelona: Saturday, June 18, Gavà area, from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.
- Bilbao: Saturday, June 25, Getxo area, from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.
- Madrid: Saturday, June 25, zone to be determined, from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.
